The IPMAT (Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test) is the gateway to IIM Indore IPM. The exam tests quantitative ability and verbal ability through three sections:

Eligibility Criteria for IIM Indore IPM 2027

  • Academic Qualification: Minimum 60% marks in Class 10 AND Class 12 (General/EWS/OBC-NCL). Minimum 55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
  • Age Limit: Born on or after July 31, 2007 (i.e., 20 years or younger as on July 31, 2027) — approximate for 2027 batch
  • Nationality: Indian nationals only (No NRI quota)
  • Appearing candidates: Students appearing in Class 12 in 2027 are also eligible (subject to meeting percentage requirement at time of admission)

Selection Process: IPMAT to Final Admission

IIM Indore IPM Selection Process — 3 Stages:
Stage 1 — IPMAT: Written test (QA + VA MCQs + SA) → Sectional cutoffs must be cleared
Stage 2 — WAT: Written Ability Test — essay on a given topic (25-30 minutes)
